abnormal exit error when birdseye is not installed

This is in addition to the installation message.
Would be nice if it just showed the message instead.
Encountered same error on mac - reopening.
my changes in commit b16d237 included some refactoring that may or may not have fixed this - I need to check with latest version of extension
yeah fixed in latest version. Closing.
