AllToMp3 ver 0.3.17 not downloading

ybarnatan opened this issue · comments

Hi everyone,
Been trying to download songs from both Spotify and youtube but with no success for a week or so.
I'm using:

  • My operating system: Windows 10 (64 bits)
  • My AllToMP3 version: 0.3.17 [upgraded on 22/9]
  • What I've tried:
  1. download by copying the url given by spotify app, when going the route: right click on song > share > copy song link. Example:
    https://open.spotify.com/track/5CQ30WqJwcep0pYcV4AMNc?si=HbTWeNZCTBGWoQWjC64m6g
  2. Providing a youtube url, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TA9Rec1qAFQ
  3. typing the name of song or album on the search bar of AllToMP3

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best!

Same for me. Worked briefly now doesn't download.

Same for me. Worked briefly now doesn't download.

Actually the same is happening... Hope it get fixed soon!

Not even sure how this app works but yesterday on one machine it worked fine, but (same version) now it is not downloading anything

a few days later now and after SERIOUS internet issues here I tried again and while it gets the wrong song at times (I never usually use the links ... spotify linking wrong maybe and not related to this app in any way maybe) ... it seems to be working fine now ... not sure what happened before

seeing this again here .... I am on Arch linux and I have downloaded the version in this post from the AUR (0.3.17 to be clear) ... even deleted the AllToMp3 folder in .config that has a nuumber of cache related folders ... so far no change

running from the command line the last thing I see when hit enter twice after posting any URL in is

[AT3] event begin-url 0
[AT3] event begin-url 1
[AT3] event begin-url 2
[AT3] event begin-url 3

it just sits there and even after say 20 minutes it doesn't download ... I am thinking this and the "downloads the wrong song" issue may NOT be related to this app but something on Spotify's end ...after seeing this problem before ... I DID WORK for a day or two ... then it stopped again ... maybe spotify is doing strange things shrugs

@Xmetalfanx , have you got any luck? Maybe it works for you if you update to ver 0.3.18, it didn't make the trick for me though.

i tried just removing the cache folder content here in linux (i mean ~/.config/AllToMp3/ and cache folders in it) ... then i said forget it after 50%/50% luck ... i just deleted the config folder itself (what i said above ... that folder) ... on first run it's just recreated, no problem ... i am still getting only like 50% of the album downloaded but its better than nothing ... what is causing this/"how does it determine which 1/2 of the songs to get?" ... I have no clue
