Customised fonts revert back to default when trying to change privacy settings

I require bold fonts to surf the web & I'm having a problem with setting my default fonts & privacy settings, When the privacy setting are default I can view my bold fonts O,K but If I change anything In the privacy settings they revert back to the default fonts.
