Positioning seems to be broken if the input field is inside a modal

Trying to get this set up with an input in conjunction with ngx-bootstrap and a modal popup.
Dialog displays all the way to the right of the screen. cpPositionOffset and cpDialogDisplay changes don't seem to change anything.
