WeatherLenz - A Weather Forecast App

Hi folks, this is the weather project called WeatherLenz, that I have developed using #reactjs.

The purpose of this project was to apply, #reactjs concepts like

  1. React Hooks
  2. React UseState
  3. Dynamic Rendering
  4. Props
  5. Functions Like : filter(), reducer, map(), fetch()
  6. Data fetching and #apiintegration

Code Snipets

React useState

It is used to store data from api response.

React useEffect

It is used to fetch data from url and re-render the components whenever the apiurl changes

Function to sort the bulk data using Reducer()

API gave data for every hour for 5 days.

The data for the 5 days forecast required for the project was

Getting Started with Create React App

This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in your browser.

The page will reload when you make changes.
You may also see any lint errors in the console.

npm test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
See the section about running tests for more information.

npm run build

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!
