A portfolio value calculator for the Australia Stock Exchange
- To get started, enter your name into the program
- When prompted to create a new portfolio, type 'y'.
- Enter how many seperate companies you own shares in
- Enter the stock code of the first share type, for example, Vanguard Australian Shares Index ETF has the code VAS.AX, but you only need to enter VAS, not the .AX suffix
- Enter how much you bought these shares for
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each copmany
- Exit the program, when it is restarted, you can enter your name and the program will summarise your portfolio
