Spellcheck not working

In the setup.py there are some variables for the martor package. Martor itself is a python package which handles the markdown text boxes in the UI.
The following screenshot shows my current configuration.
I changed the values for living and spellcheck form false to true. As can be seen in the following screenshot the live preview does work as expected. However, the spellcheck does not work (see the last word)
