Swapped Poem Images

drojf opened this issue · comments

It was reported in discord that some of the poem images are swapped:

in chapter 4 of matsuribayashi (i.e. script file _mats_007.txt) there are two poems that are read automatically at separate points in the chapter. If you compare the japanese and english language text, the order of these poems has been swapped. In other words, the japanese text of the first poem corresponds to the english text of the second poem, and the japanese text of the second poem corresponds to the english text of the first poem

To fix this, these ENGLISH images need to be swapped (in the CG/text folder). The japanese images are correct according to the original reporter.

si_ta3a_1 <-> si_ta3b_1
si_ta3a_2 <-> si_ta3b_2
si_ta3a_3 <-> si_ta3b_3

I checked against the unmodded game, and it looks like the unmodded game has the same issue (or rather, we have the same behavior as the unmodded game).

There is some formatting differences between the two poem images, but I'll ignore that for now.

Also, one pair of the JAPANESE images are swapped around:

there's also a third poem in which the english language text is all fine and in the correct order, but the first and fourth japanese lines in the poem are swapped

To fix this, these images need to be swapped:

si_ta4a_j.png <-> si_ta4d_j.png

I've summarized the changes necessary in this table:
poem-changes-summary.zip - just extract the zip file somewhere and open the htm file.

@DoctorDiablo, could you have a look at the table and see if the changes seem OK? Check if the left most column always matches the right most column. You can also double check against the voice files below.

If the changes seem OK I'll swap the images around.

@DoctorDiablo I forgot to include the voices. Hopefully I've included the right ones

Poem 1 Voices (which correctly correspond to the Japanese text):

	DrawScene( "black" , 1000 );
	DrawSceneWithMask( "text/si_ta3a_1", "maskup", 1, 0, 600 );
	ModPlayVoiceLS(4, 9, "ps3/s13/09/550500134", 128, TRUE);
	Wait( 4500 );
	DrawSceneWithMask( "text/si_ta3a_2", "maskup", 1, 0, 600 );
	ModPlayVoiceLS(4, 9, "ps3/s13/09/550500135", 128, TRUE);
	Wait( 3800 );
	DrawSceneWithMask( "text/si_ta3a_3", "maskup", 1, 0, 600 );
	ModPlayVoiceLS(4, 9, "ps3/s13/09/550500136", 128, TRUE);
	Wait( 4600 );
	DrawScene( "black" , 3000 );

@DoctorDiablo I tried using google translate on the images (NOT for translation, just to double-check whether the images were swapped around as OP reported), and OP seems to be correct, so you don't need to check the images anymore.

I'll go ahead and fix up the images as described in the first post.

I've fixed the swapped images by adding them to the Matsuri Update Archive: https://07th-mod.com/rikachama/og-dll-asset-update/matsuribayashi-og-dll-asset-update.7z
